Kim & Adam

I actually met Kim a while ago; she hired me to do a lifestyle shoot
for her sorority sweater company =) and it was a blast working with her!
So when Kim emailed me to say she was engaged I was soooooo thrilled for her =)
We had already worked together & we just clicked!
That’s what I love -becoming friends with my clients ;) I really couldn't’ have it any other way!
Kim & Adam showed up on the day of our shoot a lil shy, which is totally normal,
Since when are you usually prepping for photo shoots?! Right =)
I always tell my couples even if you aren’t going to use your engagement pictures for anything,
even if you don’t see a reason for the session, you HAVE to do it.
Couples don’t realize that this is a bonding time between you and your photographer =)
I know that sounds lame. But truly it is.
I love getting to know my couples and hearing all about their day
And seeing the way they laugh, and get giddy with excitement about marrying their best friend!

It helps me see who they are, and get them comfortable with me before the wedding day :)
They started out timid, but of course by the end of the day
they were just natural rock stars striking a pose!
Seriously guys you were perfect!!!!
I can’t tell you how I am excited I am for their wedding!
Its going to be breathtaking!

It will be my first time seeing Indiana, and they are getting married in a barn: )
Yup. So excited!!!

I love this next series, when I told Kim & Adam to dance -Adam was the first to get into it :)
