2013 Brides (&Grooms!)

Just a little blog post for 2013 Brides (& of course Grooms too) 

With the arrival of our baby girl in Oct. and Crew turning 2 in Nov I am well aware that I am going to have my hands quite full! 

That being said I am scaling back the number of weddings I will be taking on in 2013. 

Right now I am getting inquiries for 2013 and trying to meet with brides prior to Oct :) 

if they are getting married next year! 

I adore my job, I absolutely LOVE what I do and I am so grateful that it gives me the freedom to 

raise my babies at the same time :) 

But in order to be fair to my kiddos and also my brides I have decided to only take on 10 (maybe 12) 

weddings next year.

So literally bookings will be on a first come first serve basis to fill those slots =)

Jeanna & Colin. The Question

Jeanna & Colin are inspired by bookstores, so we knew right away that we had to begin our session in a bookstore :) I loved how it all turned out!

I felt like it truly showed who they were and just let them be themselves :) perfect for an engagement session. 

Jeanna and Colin are one of my out of town couples so I met them for the first time @ our 

session. And they were exactly as I had imagined :) I love that!

So blessed to shoot their sweet wedding day! 

July can't come soon enough :)

Logan & John. The Question

I knew Logan was my DREAM bride when she showed up head to toe in anthropologie @ their engagement session :) Anthropologie really is the best way to my heart! 

I am obsessed with all my bride's style this year :) Im a lucky lil photographer over here :)

We decided to make Logan & John's engagement session super fun and playful 

& I love how it turned out!!! 

And their sweet wedding is less than a month away, it's going to be ridiculously gorgeous!

Baby Girl Things....

I am going to be better with sharing on this blog -lord help me! I miss blogging!!! 

So just some random thoughts... :)

I still cannot believe I am having a baby girl... 

I don't know if it will actually kick in until she is here :)

I have honestly dreamed of having a daughter for such a long time. 

I knew when I was pregnant with Crew, I just had a feeling it was a BOY. 

And I felt that god gave me that little man for a reason. =) 

He is truly the best lil boy! I am so in love with him. 

And when we got pregnant this time I really felt like it was a baby girl, 

but wouldn't let myself get too attached to the idea of a daughter. 

When we read the paper (the ultrasound tech wrote down for us what we were having) I burst into tears. 

I just couldn't believe that this was happening. 

Now that she is coming this October I was finally able to pull out all the secret lil baby girl things I had been saving for way too long :) 

 I bought the books so long ago and the headbands were the first "real" baby girl article I bought 

after we found out :)

And baby booties knitted by my late grandma. Perhaps my FAV items she will wear! 

Lisa & Skyler. The Question

Lisa & Skyler's engagement session is one of my FAVS! 

They needed little direction and were just themselves on our shoot :) 

I really felt like a stalker there with my camera as they were just carrying on with their day! 

It was perfect! =) 

So effortless :) and I loved documenting their sweet relationship! 

Cannot wait for their wedding!!! 

Ariana & Cody. The Question

I am so excited about Ariana & Cody's wedding :)
the inspiration behind it is from the show "Pushing Daisies" - how playful and whimsical right?!
So when they showed up for their engagement session they looked so perfectly tied into their
wedding inspiration!!! Notice the cute holding hands photos... :)
 since the main character's in the show cannot touch they
 hold hands by holding their own hands and pretending its the other persons :) So cute!
I am pretty much obsessed with Ariana's cute style :)
it went perfectly with the mustard flower fields- that polka dot dress!!! :)
