Sabrina & Rodney are the perfect example of "less is more".
Sometimes brides ( & grooms) can feel so much pressure of the prop phenomenon
in their photos & it can take away from what the session is about....

So I really urge my couples to edit their use of props,
make sure its something that means something to you two =)
That shows in your pictures 100% :)
We focused on Sabrina & Rodney and what they like to do!
Started off in a rad ComicBook Shoppe, then stopped for a cappuccino & dessert @ a fun cafe,
& then ended the day in the hills of Los Angeles.

I know I'm biased, because I am Sabrina's Maid Of Honor, but I think these are GORGEOUS!!! I dunno if she's telling people the story of the ring, (which is a GREAT one) but I'll let her know people are curious and maybe she'll come on here and tell it herself!

For all of you who want to find out more about the ring. Im European so I wasn't raised on the custom of an engagement ring. And Im not a princess cut ring kinda girl. But I do love big chunky wood rings. And thats why my Fiance came up with this special ring Im now wearing.
The ring is the wood of a recycled skateboard. It's Basically a cut out round circle and then filed down dome-like, so all the layers of colours in the board get exposed, forming these pretty circles. Rodney chose a green center because I have green eyes and it reminded him of me and then had a LA Jewelry God (SHOUT OUT TO "D.R.") set a diamond off center to symbolize the spark Rodney loves seeing in my eyes. And yes I will wear a wedding band together with the ring. It works perfectly. Last but not LEAST!! a big fat THANK YOU SO MUCH to ASHLEY ROSE!!! She is so stinking cute and extremely talented that I almost cant wait to shoot with her ON our big day!
