Be

I started to write out this post, and I realized that it was taking a ride on the pity party bus.
As I stared blankly at the words on the screen I decided then and there that I was not going down that road!
I have made a conscious decision to appreciate everything in my life more.
Hello early New Year’s Resolution! (Big improvement from my exercise regime resolution 3 years in a row)
When I start to wallow in self pity, I am going to take a minute to be grateful for the loveliness around me.

I have an amazing family that would do anything for me and despite their crazy nature I couldn’t love them more
My husband and I don’t have a big nest by any means, but we are together and in the end he is my home
I adore my friends, they make me laugh, make me cry (happy tears), and truly make me strive to be a better person.

I know I sound sappy and slightly pukey…but words that I am trying to follow are these
“If you want to be Happy, Be”
